Description: In Jesus' Parable of the Great Dinner, a man plans a lavish feast and invites many people, but when the time for the feast comes, those invited begin to make excuses. One claims to have just bought a piece of land, another that he had just bought oxen, and the third that he had just been married. The man hosting the dinner responded by inviting the poor, the lame, the blind, and the crippled.
