Image Title: Questions by Jewish Rulers

Scripture Reference:

Description: Jesus is questioned by the Herodians, Pharisees and Sadducees but silences them all. The scene of a stoning in the background (illustrating Jesus’ denunciation of the stoning of God’s prophets in Matthew 23:37), with a figure (Saul of Tarsus) tending the garments of those engaged in the stoning, clearly illustrates the subsequent stoning of Stephen (Acts 7).
