Description: Upon seeing Rachel for the first time, Jacob, with help from the shepherds from Haran, removes the stone from the well and waters her flock. As the numeral at the head of the page indicates, this is plate #26 in a series of illustrations, and the artist or engraver’s name, Peter Paul Bouche (b. ca. 1646), has been placed in the lower left corner of the woodcut.
