Description: This historiated title-page border, designed by Hans Brosamer (ca. 1500-ca. 1554), is decorated with an image of the transfiguration (bottom), God (top), and the four attributes of the gospel writers (sides). The image of the transfiguration is the printer's device of Johann vom Berg (d. 1563) and Ulrich Neuber (d.1571).
