Description: This image depicts the Israelites worshipping the golden calf under the direction of Aaron. To the top-right Moses smashes the calf into powder and makes the Israelites drink it. To the top-left is the golden lampstand, the breastplate of judgment, the robe of the ephod, and the golden rosette. To the bottom-left the sons of Levi restore order among the Israelites by killing their brothers, friends, and neighbors. At the bottom God meets with Moses in the tent of meeting as a pillar of cloud. To the bottom-right Moses returns with the second set of Ten Commandments and a radiant face. At the top is a map of the tribes of Israel and how they camped around the Tabernacle.
