Description: This image depicts Hannah presenting herself to the Lord, as the priest Eli stands nearby. In the top-right corner Elkanah eats with his two wives, Hannah and Peninnah. In the bottom-right corner Hannah brings Samuel to present him to the Lord. To the bottom-left Eli’s sons abuse the offerings to the Lord. To the top-left Samuel goes to Eli in the middle of night after hearing the voice of the Lord.
