Description: This image depicts Samuel killing King Agag in the presence of Saul in observance of the sacrificial ban. At the top Samuel calls upon God and God responds with thunder, lightning, and rain. In the bottom-right corner Samuel arrives just as Saul finishes making the sacrificial offering to God. To the left Saul’s son, Jonathan, and his armor-bearer sneak up on the Philistines in their camp. In the top-right corner Jonathan is ransomed by the Israelites before Saul kills him.
