Description: This image depicts Jezebel’s plot, which falsely accused him of cursing God and the king Naboth, so that he could be stoned and King Ahab of Israel could have his vineyard. The prophet Elijah confronts Ahab about the plot and prophesies against him. At the top the prophet Elijah is fed by ravens at the Wadi Cherith, while to the left Elijah greets the widow of Zarephath. In the top-left corner the widow of Zarephath pours from a jar of oil, while in the top-right corner Elijah brings the son of the widow of Zarephath back to life. To the left an angel wakes and feeds Elijah as he flees to Horeb. In the bottom-left corner the prophet Elijah throws his mantle over Elisha. To the right the Israelites defeat the Arameans in battle. In the bottom-right corner King Ahab of Israel is condemned for sparing the life of King Ben-hadad of Aram-Damascus.
