Description: This image depicts Athaliah, the mother of Ahaziah, ordering the deaths of Judah’s royal family, while Jehoshabeath escapes with Joash. In the middle Elisha prays and God answers his prayer enabling Elisha’s servant to see the hills filled with chariots of fire. In the top-right a prophet anoints Jehu as the King of Israel. To the left Jehu kills Jehoram and Ahaziah. Some eunuchs throw Jezebel out the window as Jehu enters Jezreel. To the right Jehu has the priests of Baal killed. In the bottom-right corner the heads of the sons of Ahab are brought to Jehu. In the bottom-left corner Jehu meets Jehonadab and takes him into his chariot. At the top the priest Jehoiada installs Joash as king of Judah and orders the execution of Athaliah.
