Description: This image depicts the Maccabeans assaulting the stronghold of the Idumeans. At the top-right Antiochus V Eupator (r. 164-162 BCE) attempts to bribe the Israelite strongholds to surrender, while in the top-right corner Antiochus fights a battle against Judas Maccabeus. To the right, To the left, Razias throws himself from a tower in the city in an effort to die nobly. In the top-left corner is a meeting of Judas Maccabeus and Onias.
