Pitts Theology Library hosts a variety of virtual and in-person events throughout the year, including annual highlights like Reformation Day at Emory and the Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale as well as weekly instruction workshops, conversations with renowned Reformation scholars, and other special programming with the Candler and Emory communities. Pitts’ Signature Events

Named after the world-renowned Richard C. Kessler Reformation Collection held at Pitts Theology Library, Kessler Conversations are online, 30-45 minute conversations that offer opportunities for the general public to learn about the events in Europe the 16th century and to consider what they may tell us about the issues facing our communities.
