K-12 Program

Hands on History Program

The “Hands on History” program introduces K-12 students to critical questions in history, theology, religious studies, and book history through hands-on experiences with the world-renowned rare book and archival collections of Pitts Theology Library, the premier theology library in North America. In instructional sessions held at Emory University on-site, at K-12 schools, or online, Pitts librarians will work with K-12 faculty to connect the experience of seeing and touching artifacts that date back centuries with school curricula and learning outcomes.
